Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day site operations, supervising warehousing, receiving, and shipping to meet service and cost objectives. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, space utilization, and equipment management while guiding staff through training and performance reviews.

In this role, you will drive continuous improvement, ensure KPI achievement, and maintain safety and SOP compliance.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping to meet service and cost objectives.
Plan inbound and outbound volume; manage space, equipment, and customer communications.
Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage labor planning and performance issues.
Drive continuous improvement and meet client KPIs while adhering to SOPs (DSV and client).
Lead safety programs and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with HR on hiring, training, and professional development.
