Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, manage space and equipment, and lead hiring, training, and performance management to meet client KPIs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals, and comply with client KPIs and SLAs.
• Drives continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead and develop staff, conduct performance appraisals, and support HR activities.
• Plan daily work schedules, assign duties, and optimize space, resources, and staffing.
• Collaborate with HR on hiring, training, and development programs.
