Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the United States seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead inbound/outbound activities, labor management, and scheduling within the warehouse. You will hire, train, evaluate staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations in line with client requirements.

This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, space optimization, and coordination with management and clients, while upholding SOPs and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
• Forklift training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff meetings and review daily/weekly work activities.
• Inform senior management and client representatives of critical issues.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and ensure SOP compliance.
• Plan daily work schedule and assign duties to staff.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
