Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Las Vegas seeks a Customer Service Representative III to act as a resource for customer requests and resolve delivery issues. You will manage new and existing accounts, assess customer needs, and translate them into results-oriented solutions.

Responsibilities include mentoring new hires, monitoring load board capacity, and providing timely shipment updates. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential to ensure outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in customer service or related roles is required.
• 3-5 years experience in Freight Forwarding, logistics, 3PL, Transportation Brokerage or Trucking company is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively meet or exceed Customer KPI's and milestones within a timely manner.
• Mentor and train new hires on general processes and procedures.
• Monitor and service capacity available on the load board.
• Train and gain knowledge of lane history and customer pricing.
• Follow procedures on setting up routes and transit times/appointment scheduling.
• Correct or solve escalated issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Provide shipment updates using Transportation Management Software (TMS).
• Respond to customer emails within the team inbox.
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
• Promote additional services such as Proof of Delivery to contribute to profit.
