Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Domestic Customer Account Manager to manage day-to-day client relationships and expand services. You will handle 24/7 customer service, tracking, routing, and profitability for a high-revenue customer base, coordinating with internal groups to meet goals and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes client liaison for end-to-end freight solutions, cost analysis, and reporting, with a strong focus on accuracy and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 3-5 years previous Freight Forwarding experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel; AS400 experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Team collaboration and autonomous resource management.
• Ability to calculate freight rates and related metrics.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for larger, high-revenue customers and projects.
• Quote and route freight across multiple channels; track and trace shipments.
• Troubleshoot operations and respond to client inquiries promptly.
• Develop and monitor logistics metrics; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with reporting requests and SOP updates.
