Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Coordinator to manage daily servicing of small business and commercial loans. You will handle setup, funding, post-closing steps, and ongoing maintenance while prioritizing customer service and strict deadlines.

The role requires 6–8 years in commercial or small business lending, strong knowledge of loan documentation and servicing systems, and the ability to mentor junior staff. An on-site, collaborative environment is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of customer service experience.
• 6-8 years of commercial or small business loan experience.
• Knowledge of commercial and small business loan products, credit policy, compliance and regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of loan documentation and ability to read, interpret, and judge from documentation.
• Knowledge of servicing systems used in loans.

Responsibilities

• Complete new loan setup, funding, and post-closing review.
• Post loan transactions and perform loan maintenance as needed.
• Ensure service levels and benchmarks are met.
• Prepare payoff quotes and transactions.
• Respond to inquiries with exemplary customer service.
• Process loan modifications and monitor ARM notices.
• Reconcile reports for SBA, Small Business, or Commercial loans.
• Assist with daily balancing and GL reconciliation.
• Maintain and verify lien positions and collateral records.
• Train new hires to ensure consistency in servicing commercial loans.
