Job summary

Stony Brook University seeks a Senior LMS & Enterprise Applications Administrator to manage Brightspace (D2L) and a portfolio of critical applications. You will configure, integrate, automate, and troubleshoot interconnected systems to support faculty, staff, and students.

The role requires strong scripting skills, independent work, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering excellent customer service. Collaboration with IT teams and academic units is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as evidence in resume.
• 4 years of full-time experience administering ERP or LMS systems.
• Experience scripting/programming (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl) to automate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer Brightspace (D2L) and integrate with SIS/SSO.
• Develop and maintain LMS-related reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain automation scripts for provisioning and data synchronization.
• Coordinate patches, upgrades, and outages with vendors and internal teams.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for LMS issues and communicate with stakeholders.
