The City University of New York is seeking an IT Academic Applications Specialist to administer and support academic technology tools, including Brightspace LMS and Digication, for teaching excellence and student success.

You will train faculty, coordinate integrations, address accessibility compliance, and collaborate with IT, faculty, and vendors to implement innovative solutions in a fast-paced higher education environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years' relevant experience required.
• Experience supporting online, hybrid, and technology-enhanced courses.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/Section 504/508, WCAG).
• Experience coordinating technology implementations and integrations.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain academic technology applications and platforms (Brightspace LMS, Digication).
• Provide technical consultation and support to faculty and staff on effective use and integration of apps.
• Coordinate implementation, configuration, testing and ongoing support of academic technology systems.
• Develop and deliver training, workshops, and documentation for effective use of instructional technologies.
• Collaborate with faculty, IT, and vendors to resolve issues and support tech initiatives.
• Monitor performance, updates, and vendor releases; coordinate resolutions.
