Job summary

Southern Connecticut State University seeks a Learning Management System Administrator to oversee daily LMS operations, configure to IT policies, and manage upgrades, patches, and integrations.

The role collaborates with faculty to support online and hybrid courses, provides Tier 2 support, and participates in university committees. A Bachelor's degree is required with four years of LMS experience; Blackboard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Four years of LMS administration experience; Blackboard experience preferred.
• Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders in higher education.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; accessibility knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day LMS system administration, including testing environments.
• Configures and enhances LMS applications.
• Coordinates planning, testing, and implementation of new LMS releases, service packs, patches and integrations.
• Maintains documentation of LMS configurations and integrations.
• Provides Tier 2 technical support and collaborates with faculty and staff.
• Supports online and hybrid learning initiatives and participates in university committees.
• Facilitates LMS connectivity with ERP systems and SSO.
• Delivers instructional technology workshops for faculty and students.
• Develops policies and procedures for instructional technology support.
