Job summary

Arvum Senior Living is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff. The role includes routine maintenance, basic repairs, and support of preventative programs on facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), and the ability to prioritize tasks while working independently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Technical school education is preferred.
• 1 year maintenance or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Basic technical knowledge (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and mechanical ability are needed.
• Familiarity with OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations is expected.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks for buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs.
• Work on HVAC systems, water and pumps, refrigeration, electrical systems and emergency generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance and deep cleaning of resident suites.
• Assist with fire safety and disaster evacuation procedures.
