Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Tech to help keep our senior living communities safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will handle routine repairs across grounds, buildings, and resident suites, and assist with preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, basic technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask independently.

Qualifications

• Must have basic technical knowledge (such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical) and general construction principles.
• Must possess a basic knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and services, including heating/air conditioning, water systems, pumps, refrigeration, electrical, and generators.
• Perform carpet and hard surface floor maintenance and deep cleaning of resident suites as assigned.
• Support Fire Safety and Disaster Preparedness evacuation procedures.
