Job summary

Enriched Senior Living LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform maintenance and repairs on buildings and grounds, and to support residents and staff. The role includes preventive maintenance, cleaning, and coordinating with contractors to keep facilities attractive and safe.

The position requires handling HVAC, plumbing, and electrical conditioning, basic carpentry, and operating the community vehicle for transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; or one to three years related experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing preferred.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Paints and repairs masonry, woodwork, and furnishings or oversees contractors to maintain buildings.
• Maintains grounds: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, removing weeds, raking and disposing leaves.
• Cleans and maintains buildings: buffing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, windows.
• Inspects and services HVAC, environmental control systems, plumbing for codes and standards or oversees contractors.
• Repairs and repaints all areas of the building and moves furniture as needed.
• Assist residents with move-ins/outs, help with boxes and furniture, hanging pictures to make residents feel at home.
• Drives community vehicle for resident transport and community errands.
• Performs fire drills and disaster preparedness activities; follows safety and confidentiality policies.
