Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our senior living community safe, clean, and well-functioning for residents and staff. The role covers routine maintenance, basic repairs, and preventative tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.

You will support painting, refurbishing, and suite make-ready activities, while maintaining tools and inventory. The position emphasizes safety, OSHA standards, and timely response to work orders to brighten

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Support carpet and floor care as needed.
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned.
