Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a dedicated dining services team member to prepare meals according to menus and recipes while guiding other staff to deliver quality food for residents. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety and coordination with chefs and supervisors to ensure a superior dining experience.

The ideal candidate has two years of institutional cooking experience, with a willingness to obtain required vaccinations.

Qualifications

• Two years of institutional cooking or kitchen experience preferred.
• Willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccine if required by county health regulations.
• Ability to plan, organize, interpret, make independent decisions and direct work of employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event/catering foods following menus.
• Ensures high quality meals with appealing presentation and flavor.
• Prepares appropriate portions and quantities as requested by residents or customers.
• Maintains sanitation and safety in kitchen and dining areas; operates equipment safely.
• Follows infection control and safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Assists in directing dining staff and supports supervision as needed.
