Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a range of dining service tasks, maintain sanitary dining areas, and assist with some food preparation. The role emphasizes serving residents, setting up dining rooms, cleaning duties, and strict adherence to safety and infection-control procedures.

The position involves maintaining temperatures, documenting HACCP logs, and following EverTrue policies.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members; Hepatitis A vaccine may be required in certain counties.

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, prepares beverages, salads, desserts, and other items while ensuring proper temperatures and on-time service.
• Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Cleans and maintains dining areas; cleans tables, washes dishes, disposes of waste, and stocks items.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents to supervisor.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records product usage and waste amounts.
• Follows infection control procedures and uses protective clothing when handling waste and cleaning agents.
