Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to support meal service, set-up, and cleanup in a dining environment. You will assist with meal preparation, ensure foods are served at proper temperatures, and maintain sanitary dining areas.

Qualifications include prior dining service experience and the ability to follow recipes and diet orders. Vaccination requirements may apply, and a team‑oriented approach is essential for resident care and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County (in accordance with County health regulations)

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items per recipes.
• Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assists with clean-up to maintain dining areas per policies, completes cleaning duties and keeps areas clean.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents to supervisor.
• Maintains HACCP logs, records product usage and waste, and documents other required information.
• Follows infection control practices and uses protective clothing when handling waste and cleaning agents
