Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a range of dining service functions, maintain clean and sanitary dining areas, and assist in food preparation. Responsibilities include set-up, serving residents, cleaning, and following HACCP and infection-control procedures.

Qualifications include prior dining service experience, ability to follow recipes and diet orders, and willingness to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine where required.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County (in accordance with County health regulations)

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using various dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service set-up in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items; ensures proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assists with dining room set up including setting tables, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Assists with cleaning duties to maintain dining areas per policies and standards.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records product usage and waste.
• Follows infection control procedures and uses protective equipment when handling waste and cleaners.
