EverTrue is seeking a cook to prepare meals for residents according to menus and recipes and to supervise dining staff as needed to ensure quality food products. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and close collaboration with Chefs and Dining Service Supervisors.

The successful candidate will have two years of institutional cooking experience, strong planning and leadership abilities, and a commitment to infection control and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least two years of institutional cooking or kitchen experience.
• Hepatitis A vaccination may be required where applicable.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct food preparation and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals across all service periods following recipes and menus.
• Ensure high-quality, visually appealing dishes with proper taste and texture.
• Portion meals accurately and accommodate dietary needs when requested.
• Maintain sanitation and proper operation of kitchen equipment.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures and report hazards.
• Support supervisors in day-to-day kitchen operations.
