Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests in a compliant, efficient kitchen. You will supervise dining staff as needed and work under the direction of Chefs and Dining Service Supervisors to ensure quality food production.

You will follow standardized recipes, maintain sanitation, and adhere to infection control and safety protocols while delivering high-quality meals that meet dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience of institutional cooking or kitchen work preferred.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County.
• Ability to plan, organize, interpret, make independent decisions and direct work of employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event/catering items following recipes and production sheets.
• Maintain high-quality meals with appealing taste, aroma, and presentation.
• Ensure proper portioning and timely preparation of items.
• Maintain sanitation in kitchen and dining areas and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents.
