Job summary

EverTrue is seeking an experienced kitchen/cooding professional to prepare meals for residents, supervise dining staff, and ensure quality, safety, and presentation. You will follow standardized recipes and menus while maintaining clean, organized kitchen spaces.

The role requires 2+ years of institutional cooking experience, ability to plan and direct staff, and willingness to obtain Hepatitis A vaccination per local health regulations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in institutional cooking or kitchen work.
• Willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccine per county health regs.
• Ability to plan, organize, interpret, and direct work of employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special event foods following recipes and production sheets.
• Tests and tastes food to ensure quality flavor, texture, and presentation.
• Prepares appropriate portions and adjusts quantities per resident requests.
• Maintains sanitation in kitchen and dining areas and uses equipment safely.
• Follows infection control and safety procedures and reports hazards or equipment issues.
• Relates to residents calmly and works with diverse staff to ensure service quality.
