Job summary

Hawthorn Senior Living in Oro Valley, AZ, seeks a friendly, detail-oriented team member to clean resident apartments and community spaces and to assist in serving meals.

This is a universal employee role with cross-training in other positions, and the successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, sanitation, and time-management skills while delivering compassionate care to residents.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents in care and cleaning.
• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments according to Hawthorn guidelines and schedule (vacuum, spot-clean, dust, clean bathroom/kitchenette, etc.).
• Clean community common areas (vacuum, mop, dust, restrooms, windows).
• Assist with serving duties: greet residents, take orders, deliver meals, set tables, and tidy dining areas.
• Maintain safety and compliance with policies; cross-train in other roles as directed.
