Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of housekeeping sanitation standards and current guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and guests about cleaning and meals.
• Good understanding of food handling practices and safety.
• Able to work in a busy environment and be a team player.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments according to Hawthorn guidelines and schedule (vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, deep cleans).
• Clean community common areas (vacuum, mop, dust, restrooms, windows).
• Serve residents during meals: take orders, deliver meals, assist with opening packages, clear tables.
• Maintain safe food handling practices and comply with safety protocols.
• Attend to duties as assigned by supervisor and follow employee handbook.
