Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform housekeeping duties following sanitation standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents.
• Ability to present meal alternatives to residents and guests.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Demonstrates teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Adheres to company policies and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments according to Hawthorn guidelines and schedule, including vacuuming, spot cleaning, dusting, and bathroom/ kitchenette cleaning.
• Clean community common areas per schedule, including floors, restrooms, trash removal, and windows.
• Serve meals: greet residents, take orders, deliver meals, assist with opening packages, and clear/deliver trays.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and assist with dining room setup for next meals.
• Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to Hawthorn Employee Handbook.
