Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Director in Massachusetts (Falmouth) to lead maintenance, housekeeping, and related operations across a community.

You will supervise staff, coordinate preventative maintenance, and partner with outside vendors to maintain property value and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include budgeting, vendor management, and implementing programs to improve resident satisfaction while ensuring safety and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of multi-family property management or building maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for estimates and analyses.
• Strong performance management and coaching abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company/personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and janitorial staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Implement programs to maximize revenue, control costs and improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage all maintenance needs of the community to meet safety and operational standards.
• Handle customer service requests via the Facility One system and ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee apartment turnover and preventative maintenance to protect property value.
• Assist in developing and managing the annual maintenance budget and department expenditures.
• Procure parts and materials for national accounts and ensure compliance with contracts.
• Inspect grounds and facilities to ensure full functionality and compliance.
