Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance and housekeeping teams across an assigned community.

You will oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and major appliances, while managing external vendors to meet safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all regulations, with an emphasis on maximizing community value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of multi-family property management or building maintenance experience.
• Basic arithmetic and budgeting abilities.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company or personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and janitorial staff.
• Implement programs to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor contracts.
• Manage work orders using Facility One system; prioritize and delegate tasks.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the community.
• Budget development and cost tracking.
