Atria Senior Living, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks an experienced housekeeping supervisor to manage cleaning for resident apartments and common areas, ensuring high cleanliness standards and safety.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, build schedules, and monitor performance to maintain an efficient operation. The role requires supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and ability to work varied shifts.

Competenze

• Three to five years proven housekeeping supervisory experience plus actual housekeeping/janitorial experience.
• Ability to create and deliver group presentations on property related subject matter and to write reports in a clear, concise form.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills, such as measurement, addition, subtractions, multiplication and division in order to do basic calculations and analysis such as estimating, determining averages and percentages, and totals.
• Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
• Ability to recruit, train, and manage performance of team members.

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Create staffing schedules, including days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring community needs are met.
• Assign personnel to established work areas and duties.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor assigned work to ensure proper frequencies.
• Ensure staff receives proper orientation, initial training, and ongoing education.
• Monitor staff attendance and take proactive action when patterns of absenteeism are observed.
• Monitor housekeeping equipment safety and condition.
• Assist housekeepers on an as-needed basis.
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
