Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead a team responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping operations across the assigned community.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, budget controls, and vendor relationships while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves supervising maintenance, janitorial, and auxiliary staff, driving adherence to company standards, and coordinating with external vendors to support the community’s value and service

Qualifications

• Supervise maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and janitorial staff with hiring, discipline and performance reviews.
• Develop and monitor maintenance programs to maximize revenue and control expenses.
• Oversee budget development and department expenditures within approved budget.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors and monitor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, laws, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise maintenance, housekeeping, laundry and janitorial staff, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Implement programs to maximize revenue, control costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and turnover to maximize community value.
• Handle work orders and ensure timely issue resolution using the Facility One system.
• Inspect communities and apartment homes to ensure full functionality and standards.
