Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to perform a range of dining duties, maintain sanitary dining areas, and assist with food preparation as needed. You will support setup for dining rooms and catered events, ensure proper food temperatures, and help with cleanup and stock management.

The role emphasizes safety, HACCP recordkeeping, infection control, and teamwork in a resident-centered dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must have or be willing to receive a Hepatitis A vaccine if working within St. Louis County (in accordance with County health regulations).

Responsibilities

• Performs defined work routines using dining service utensils, supplies, and equipment.
• Assists with dining service setup for dining rooms and catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other foods.
• Assists with dining room setup, stocking buffets, and serving residents.
• Completes daily cleaning duties and waste management to keep areas clean.
• Receives and stores food and supplies.
• Follows safety procedures and reports hazards or incidents.
• Maintains HACCP logs and records product usage and waste.
• Follows infection control procedures and proper hand washing.
