Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a Dining Service Associate to support daily dining operations, prepare beverages and foods, set up dining rooms, and ensure clean, safe dining areas in line with recipes and HACCP logs. You will assist with serving residents, maintain inventories, and follow safety and infection control procedures. This role offers flexible shifts and benefits.

Experience in dining service is preferred; candidate must read recipes, follow diet orders, and work well with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous dining service experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe instructions, diet orders, resident preference cards, and work assignments.
• Willlingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Must be patient and tolerant with staff, residents, and family members.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined dining service routines using utensils, supplies, and equipment as assigned.
• Assist with dining room setup in dining rooms and at catered events, including beverages, salads, desserts, and other food items per recipes.
• Ensure foods are served at proper temperatures and on time.
• Assist with cleaning to maintain dining areas per policies and standards (bussing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing dishes, trash).
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and HACCP logs, report hazards or incidents to supervisor.
• Record food temperatures and usage in logs, track waste as needed.
• Follow infection control procedures and wear protective clothing when handling waste and cleaning agents.
