Job summary

Vista Springs Trillium Village is seeking a dedicated culinary service team member to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, while maintaining clean kitchens and dining areas. You will work under the Culinary Services Director to ensure quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma and at least one year of cooking in a care setting, with ability to follow dietary requirements and menus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year cooking/baking from scratch preferred.
• Experience with special diets and in a long-term care or assisted living setting is valued.
• Education plus experience may substitute for direct work history.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
• Assist the Culinary Services Director with inventory and menu adherence.
• Ensure meals follow dietary needs and approved menus.
• Communicate resident feedback to culinary leadership.
• Coordinate special events and assist with daily operations.
