Job summary

Vista Springs Trillium Village in Michigan is seeking a kitchen/dietary aide to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals for residents. You will work closely with the dietary director and cook, ensuring high food quality, adherence to dietary restrictions, and proper kitchen sanitation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; one year of cooking experience preferred.
• Experience cooking from scratch for residents in long-term care or assisted living settings is ideal.
• Ability to read menus and follow dietary restrictions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist culinary service director/cook in daily kitchen operations.
• Prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals to residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
• Ensure meals meet dietary needs and presentation standards.
• Assist with inventory and ordering as directed by supervisor.
