Job summary

Cherry Springs Village is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. You will prepare meals per menus and dietary requirements, ensure timely service, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff, train new team members, manage inventory, and accommodate residents' dietary requests while complying with health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements and resident preferences.
• Serve meals in a timely manner with high quality, portion control and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen per safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist training as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and report shortages or needs.
• Respond to special dietary requests and residents' food preferences.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
