Job summary

Discovery Senior Living is seeking a Concierge in California to welcome residents and guests, manage front-desk operations, and support resident services with a friendly, professional manner.

You’ll handle calls, messages, directions, and scheduling, while assisting with marketing materials, mail, and daily administrative tasks. This role offers part-time hours with competitive pay and benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years in customer service, reception, or admin roles preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with phones, email, and office systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the community positively.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone answering and reception duties professionally and courteously.
• Take accurate messages and route them promptly to the correct recipient.
• Greet residents, families, and visitors warmly and provide directions as needed.
• Support marketing materials and collate brochures as requested.
• Prepare meal tickets and tally meal counts for Dining Services.
• Maintain resident phone lists, rosters, and guest logs.
• Coordinate resident and family appointments, including transportation and services.
• Keep the front desk clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
• Distribute mail and maintain resident forms related to credits.
• Follow company policies and confidentiality requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
