Better Living in Coralville, IA is seeking a Week Day Concierge to serve as the first contact for residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff. You'll provide exceptional customer service, manage calls, greet visitors, monitor access, and assist with administrative tasks to create a warm, secure environment.

The role emphasizes hospitality and professionalism, with duties including front desk etiquette, building access, mail handling, records, and resident relations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service, receptionist, hospitality, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with basic computer applications, including email and Microsoft Office.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable demeanor.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Responsabilidades

• Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Provide information and assistance to residents, families, and visitors.
• Maintain a welcoming and positive presence at the front desk.
• Monitor front entrance activity and building access throughout the shift.
• Ensure visitors sign in according to community procedures.
• Confirm visitor authorization when necessary and notify staff of arrivals.
• Observe and report unusual activity, safety concerns, or emergencies to appropriate team members.
• Ensure front lobby is clean and debris free at all times.
• Assist with receiving and distributing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Maintain visitor logs and other required records.
• Support administrative staff with clerical tasks including but not limited to filing as assigned.
• Assist with community communications and resident inquiries.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and families.
• Respond to resident requests and direct concerns to the appropriate department.
• Promote a culture of hospitality, respect, and service excellence.
• Some driving will be included to bring residents to appointments.
