Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents with personal care, companionship, and daily activities. You will work under the Director of Nursing to promote dignity and independence, coordinating with the care team to monitor health status and implement individualized care plans.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, meals, mobility, and activities, while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant within a senior living community or healthcare setting is preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs such as grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition.
• Respond to signal lights and intercom for resident needs.
• Take and record vital signs and intake/output.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with dining, activities, and daily tasks.
• Promote residents' wellbeing and independence.
