Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents in maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life through personal care, companionship, and encouragement in daily activities.

You will work closely with the care team to monitor health, support individualized care plans, and ensure a safe, welcoming living environment for residents and their families. This role emphasizes compassionate care and proactive engagement within the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in common digital tools including Microsoft Office, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Respond to signal lights and determine residents' needs promptly.
• Record vitals and intake as directed by the care team.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed.
• Support dining, activities, and social engagement for residents.
• Document observations and communicate with the care team.

Education
