Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Vacaville, CA seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to design, initiate, and coordinate daily life enrichment activities for active residents, promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will engage residents one-on-one and in groups, lead social, religious, educational, indoor and outdoor activities, and support the monthly newsletter while ensuring safety and dignity for every resident.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook or similar software.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor with residents.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups with social, educational, and recreational activities.
• Lead or assist with events, exercise, art, music, and outings while ensuring safety.
• Support monthly newsletter and track activity outcomes.
• Assist in decorating for events and coordinate external trips as needed.
