Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant (Activity Assistant) to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating, and delivering daily life enrichment activities for active residents. This role focuses on promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing.

The position involves leading group and one-on-one activities, coordinating outings, assisting with the monthly newsletter, and ensuring resident safety.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors, leading life enrichment activities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
• Lead or assist with group and individual activities, exercise, and outings.
• Facilitate games, conversations, art and music, trips, and special events.
• Support the coordination of the monthly newsletter.
