Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a friendly Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities that promote residents' physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will lead group and individual activities, assist with events and outings, help prepare the monthly newsletter, and document participation while ensuring safety. Schedule Tue–Sat; weekend availability required; high school diploma accepted.

Qualifications

• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading enrichment activities.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
• Friendly, assertive, professional, and organized with excellent communication.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Schedule needed is Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups for social, educational, religious, and recreational activities.
• Lead or assist with activities, exercise, art, music, outings, and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination and staff communication.
• Monitor goals and progress notes and document outcomes.
• Assist in decorating for events and coordinating external trips.
