Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a friendly Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities that promote residents' physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will lead group and individual activities, assist with events and outings, help prepare the monthly newsletter, and document participation while ensuring safety. Schedule Tue–Sat; weekend availability required; high school diploma accepted.

Qualifications

At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading enrichment activities.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
Friendly, assertive, professional, and organized with excellent communication.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Schedule needed is Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

Engage residents one-on-one and in groups for social, educational, religious, and recreational activities.
Lead or assist with activities, exercise, art, music, outings, and events.
Support monthly newsletter coordination and staff communication.
Monitor goals and progress notes and document outcomes.
Assist in decorating for events and coordinating external trips.
