Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, facilitating and coordinating daily enrichment activities for active residents. The role promotes physical, mental, emotional and social well-being.

The candidate should have 6–12 months of experience with seniors, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months experience with seniors and enrichment activities preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook; able to use multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups with various activities.
• Lead or assist with social, educational, indoor and outdoor activities.
• Facilitate games, exercise, art, music, trips and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination and activity documentation.
• Decorate for events and assist with outings ensuring resident safety.
• Assist Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
