Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in California is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for active residents, promoting their physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will engage residents one-on-one and in groups, lead social, recreational, and outdoor activities, assist with newsletters, decorate for events, and help organize outings while maintaining safety and dignity for all

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6-12 months of relevant experience working with seniors.
Ability to work independently and follow plans.
Ability to maintain composure and treat residents with respect and dignity.
Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
Lead or assist with social, religious, educational, indoor, and outdoor activities.
Facilitate games, conversations, exercise classes, art and music, trips, and events.
Support coordination of the monthly newsletter.
Decorate for events and assist with outings, ensuring resident safety.
Support the Resident Lifestyle Director as necessary.
