Sinceri Senior Living in Lakewood, New Jersey, is seeking an energetic activities coordinator to plan and run engaging programs for residents. You will work with the Resident Experience Director to ensure activities meet state requirements and promote wellness, with opportunities to lead and involve family participation.

The role emphasizes planning, communication, and a positive attitude while coordinating with staff, volunteers, and transportation for off-site events.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Some experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and events for residents, families, and staff.
• Good verbal communication skills with clear, pleasant directions.
• Ability to promote activities and enlist staff support for programming.
• Must be able to pass criminal background clearance and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Resident Experience Director (RED) in planning activities that support residents’ quality of life and meet state requirements.
• Follow and implement the Calendar of Events to create an active, social, and creative environment.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile for each resident.
• Support the Better Health for a Better Self program to meet wellness needs.
• Meet new residents and families to introduce the activity program and encourage participation.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and submit monthly needs to the RED.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of holiday parties and events.
• Operate and drive the community bus for outings or programs off-site.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
