Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking an Activities/Resident Experience helper to plan and coordinate engaging programs for elderly residents, ensuring activities meet state guidelines and enhance quality of life.

You will work with the Resident Experience Director to implement the calendar, maintain resident profiles, and assist with events and community outreach, while communicating effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.(required)
• 1 year experience in social or recreational program in healthcare preferred
• Experience planning activities for elderly residents and coordinating programs with families and staff
• Strong verbal communication and a positive, engaging demeanor
• Ability to respond professionally to resident, family, or staff concerns

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Experience Director in planning activities to support residents’ quality of life and comply with state requirements.
• Follow the calendar of events created by the RED to foster a social, active, and creative environment.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile for each resident.
• Support the Better Health for a Better Self program to meet residents' health and wellness needs.
• Meet new residents and families to explain the activity program and encourage participation.
• Manage inventory of activity supplies and submit monthly needs to the RED.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events and, when needed, operate the community bus for outings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
