Sinceri Senior Living in Indiana is seeking an Activity Coordinator to assist the Resident Experience Director in planning and providing engaging activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. You will follow scheduled programs, maintain resident life profiles, and promote participation among residents and families.

The role involves coordinating events, managing supplies, and assisting with special programs and community outings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in healthcare is preferred.
• Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and coordinating programs for residents, families, and staff.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to give clear directions.
• Ability to promote activities and enlist support from facility team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist RED in planning and providing activities that support residents' quality of life and meet state requirements.
• Follow programs posted on the Calendar of Events built around resident profiles.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile for each resident.
• Support the Better Health for a Better Self program to meet residents' health needs.
• Greet new residents and families and encourage participation in activities.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and submit monthly needs to the RED.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events and drive the community bus as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
