Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a compassionate Resident Experience Assistant to support activity programming for our residents. You will help implement engaging, state-compliant activities that enhance quality of life and foster social connection across the community.

As part of the Resident Experience team, you will work closely with the RED to plan events, maintain records, and communicate with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience planning and directing activities for elderly residents and coordinating programs for residents, families, and staff.
• Good verbal communication skills, including clear directions to others.
• Ability to promote activities with enthusiasm and enlist staff support.

Responsibilities

• Assist Resident Experience Director (RED) in planning and providing activities that support residents’ quality of life and meet state requirements.
• Follow the Calendar of Events and create an active, social, creative environment.
• Maintain updated social history and Life Profile of each resident.
• Assist in maintaining a health and wellness program for residents.
• Meet new residents and families, inform them about activity programs and encourage participation.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and equipment; submit monthly needs to the RED.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events, and operate the community bus for outings or events.
