Job summary

Sr-Companies is seeking an energetic Activities Coordinator to plan and execute engaging programs for residents in a Florida facility. You will interact with residents across levels of care with empathy, coordinate events for families and staff, and supervise outings and transportation to promote health and social engagement.

The role requires leading training for staff and volunteers, maintaining safety standards, and supporting the resident council with timely follow-ups and documentation.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Creates and adheres to a monthly activity calendar.
• Speaks to and interacts with residents at all levels of care with empathy, kindness, and respect.
• Coordinates events for residents, families, staff and supports the community relations department.
• Transports and supervises residents on outings, shopping trips, and doctor’s visits.
• Screens, recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
