Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Washington state is hiring a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing, coordinating and delivering daily life enrichment activities for active residents. You will facilitate social, educational, and recreational programs aimed at promoting physical, mental, and social well-being.

The role requires a high school diploma, 6–12 months of senior care experience, proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to work

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors and leading life enrichment activities preferred.
Ability to work independently and follow scheduled plans.
Friendly, professional, organized and able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Engage residents one-on-one and in group settings.
Lead or assist with group and individual activities, exercise, games, and outings.
Support coordination of newsletters and coordinate special events.
Assist in decorating for events and seasons and document activity outcomes.
Ensure resident safety during outings and coordinate external trips.
