Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Assistant to support the Resident Lifestyle Director in designing and coordinating daily life enrichment activities for our active residents, promoting their physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being.

You will help lead group and individual activities, assist with events and outings, and contribute to a caring, resident-focused team environment that values safety and engagement for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6–12 months of relevant experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and communicate with residents with kindness and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Engage residents one-on-one and in groups.
• Lead or assist with social, recreational, and educational activities.
• Coordinate activities, exercise, art, music, trips, and events.
• Support monthly newsletter coordination and resident participation tracking.
• Ensure resident safety during outings and events.
• Assist in decorating for holidays and special events.
• Support the Resident Lifestyle Director as needed.
