Zusammenfassung

Ohio Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to support both recreational and therapeutic programs for residents. You will help plan and lead activities focused on physical, mental, and social well-being, and will assist with transportation to events when needed.

The role requires strong English communication, at least a high school diploma, and prior activities experience. Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts are required as scheduled.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One year activities experience preferred.
• Two years experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Aufgaben

• Provide programming that meets residents’ interests and well-being.
• Encourage residents to participate in hobbies and crafts.
• Visit bed-bound residents and provide materials for hobbies.
• Maintain activity logs and communicate needs for supplies/equipment.
• Attend meetings and training as scheduled.
