Ohio Living in Ohio is seeking an Activities Assistant to support a dynamic program focused on the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of residents, with daily duties built around person-centered care. Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year activities experience preferred.
• Two years in long-term care, hospital, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Mansioni

• Provide programming that meets residents' interests and well-being.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and crafts.
• Assist bed-bound residents with visits, writing letters, and hobbies.
• Visit residents routinely and assist with crafts and projects.
• Transport residents to/from dining areas when needed.
• Attend meetings and communicate needs for supplies/equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality and resident rights.
